24–29 August 2026
Centre Paul Hindemith (Blonay)
Would you like to be part of a musical encounter where voice and instruments merge in an expressive, modern dialogue? The Homage to J.-F. Zbinden 2026 invites young musicians to explore the rich repertoire of 20th-century vocal chamber music – inspired by Zbinden’s work and artistic vision.
At the heart of this masterclass is the promotion of young singers and string players who engage with the works of Julien-François Zbinden and other composers such as Hindemith, Barber, Schoeck, Vaughan-Williams and Schönberg.
Under the artistic direction of Richard Dubugnon, participants experience an environment that combines precision in chamber music tradition with expressive freedom and stylistic openness.
Throughout an intensive week at the Centre Paul Hindemith in Blonay, participants receive daily lessons, ensemble coaching, and perform in a final concert.
The project fosters musical excellence, artistic communication, and a deeper understanding of the relationship between voice and instruments.
A special focus lies on artistic and personal development – encouraging individuality, interpretation, and creative collaboration.
Singers (soprano, mezzo-soprano, tenor, baritone) and string players (violin, cello)
